The former owner and pitmaster of a renowned Durham barbecue restaurant, Wyatt came to Northgate first as a client, enlisting the team to build his second restaurant in Raleigh. As fellow restaurant owners themselves, he knew he could trust Eric and Emily to help him bring his vision to life, on time and on budget. While that project became a casualty of the pandemic, the friendship and common bond between business owners remained. When he decided to sell the restaurant and to pivot careers, Northgate seemed like a natural fit.

Wyatt’s diverse background gives him a unique perspective and approach to every project he works on. His experience as a small business owner provides insight and an understanding of everything that goes into running and growing a business, and the importance of honesty and integrity in everything we do. He approaches each project with a service-oriented attitude geared toward finding creative solutions. His legal training makes him a natural problem solver with an eye towards safety and managing risks. Outside of work Wyatt enjoys cooking, hunting, fishing and live music.
