Remodeling Sanford, NC Home

The Sanford project was a labor of love. Restoring a family home originally built in the 1950s and added onto over 30 years. The footprint, and most of the floorplan, of the home were maintained while the kitchen, living and dining areas were opened up to create a great room. After finding extensive termite damage; all wall coverings (originally beadboard) had to be removed and shiplap was installed in their place. The new owners built their own kitchen island with a farmhouse sink and restored the original wall cabinetry.
