As Electrical Division Manager, Michael Evans is focused on building Northgate’s electrical division through relationship-driven business development and strong operational standards. He works closely with builders and clients, develops clear operating procedures, and helps position Northgate Electrical as a trusted, high-quality partner.

Michael’s path into the trades started early. When he asked for an allowance at nine years old, he was handed a set of lineman pliers and a bucket instead, being told he could work and earn his way up, rather than be paid for what was expected of him. That early lesson stuck. With more than 20 years in the electrical trade, Michael has worked on systems of all sizes and complexities, advancing from apprentice to leadership through hands-on experience. As a third-generation unlimited licensed electrician, he proudly carries on a family legacy built on precision, integrity, and attention to detail. He stays sharp through continuing education and constant engagement with industry updates, driven by the belief that knowledge truly is power.

A hands-on leader, Michael believes in getting in the trenches with his team and leading by action, not title. He values a work environment where every voice matters and challenges are met with determination and collaboration.

Outside of work, Michael spends time with his family, helping his son work on his truck, and tackling projects that keep his mind engaged. As a lifelong Star Wars fan, he brings curiosity, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility to everything he does.
