Historic Renovations

Classic & Timeless Designs

In our beloved historic homes we often find "updates" that did little to improve the charm of the house. Over the years large homes were broken into multifamily boarding houses with much of the original charm and character stripped or covered. Returning historic homes to their former beauty, while updating kitchen and baths with classic and timeless designs, reworking an awkward layout, and modernizing these rooms make a huge impact on today’s lifestyle.

It’s not often we get to renovate a historic home with it’s original unpainted trim and details intact. We treasure these projects.

Homeowners Trust Our Team

Northgate helped us conceive and execute a dormer extension in our almost 100 year old house. They were always available to answer questions, closely supervised their crew and sub contractors and helped us transition from ideas to wood, walls, and two lovely new bathrooms.
